Survey of New Zealand visa and permit applicants who have used an immigration adviser
Adviser Performance
Applicants were asked to rate their adviser on: client service; communication; provision of information; timeliness, written agreements and cost. Satisfaction (4 or 5 out of 5), by status type, with each area of service is shown in the graphs that follow.
For client service, ratings for licensed ranged between 86 and 72 percent, for unlicensed between 77 and 63 percent and for exempt between 89 and 79 percent. All licensed results are statistically significantly higher when compared to the unlicensed results.

For communication, ratings for licensed ranged between 88 and 66 percent, for unlicensed between 80 and 59 percent and for exempt between 95 and 68 percent. All licensed results are statistically significantly higher when compared to the unlicensed results.

For information provision, ratings for licensed ranged between 74 and 55 percent, for unlicensed between 59 and 31 percent and for exempt between 83 and 55 percent. All licensed results are statistically significantly higher when compared to the unlicensed results.

For timeliness, ratings for licensed ranged between 81 and 74 percent, for unlicensed between 71 and 61 percent and for exempt between 84 and 75 percent. All licensed results are statistically significantly higher when compared to the unlicensed results.

For written agreements, ratings for licensed ranged between 86 and 71 percent, for unlicensed between 73 and 52 percent and for exempt between 87 and 69 percent. All licensed results are statistically significantly higher when compared to the unlicensed results.

For cost, ratings for licensed ranged between 79 and 62 percent, for unlicensed between 64 and 50 percent and for exempt between 68 and 65 percent. All licensed results are statistically significantly higher when compared to the unlicensed results.
