Becoming an offshore licensed immigration adviser for New Zealand

This page of our website is designed to give offshore New Zealand immigration advisers all the information they need to complete an application for a New Zealand immigration advisers licence.

Step 2 – Obtain a copy of the Application Booklet [PDF 1MB, 60 pages] – if you haven't obtained a hard copy from the Immigration Advisers Authority you can download a PDF copy.

Step 3 – We recommend you download a copy of the competency standards and the code of conduct before you proceed further with this presentation.

NOTE: If you are an Australian migration agent registered with the Office of the MARA, you do not need to follow the process set out here. On 29 November 2010, the application booklet was amended as a result of the introduction of the Immigration Act 2009. As a result, the page numbers quoted in the presentation do not match the page numbers in the updated application booklet.
